New player with hunkmegs alloc failures

Hello BBA. So I'm a 50 year old school player from back in the day. I have enjoyed playing ET on yall's server very much lately. I keep getting a hunkmegs alloc failure on 3 maps in the rotation. UJE_factory, UJE_paris, and Northpole. Yes I have tried changing the mem from 64 to 1024, and everything in between in console but no luck. Does anyone have a solution? I'll donate 100 bucks or whatever to get a solution or take those maps out of rotation. Thanks for the fun guys. It really brings me back to be able to play ET again. It's the game that started my online gaming experience and still the most fun. TC

Which version of the ET client are you running ?

Thats a good question. There are so many mods now it is very confusing. I boot through steam and select jaymod before going to the global server list and selecting bba xp saver.

let me see if I can figure out the client version. Keep in mind I'm more of a hardware guy than a software guy. lol

That's why. Go grab the latest version of the ET client from ETLegacy --- there's been a TON of updates and patches to the ET client, and it sounds like you're running the really old crusty original version that doesn't play nice with anything modern. Make sure to grab the 32 bit version of the client, not the 64 bit version --- jaymod won't work with the 64 bit client.
