My boy had a hard drive failure last week, after the new hardware and OS installed I loaded QW...needless to say all kinds of PB issues. Had to copy the latest PB files off my comp and add to my boys...what a pain, this will kill any new bargain bin shoppers from playing on the BBA server :(

Yep. I try to help people.
I've built 2 new rigs lately.
And the only thing I had to do was to add this command at the console.
pb_security 0
that allows your computer to download the proper files from our server.
I did get kicked about 3 times the first time I played but then I finally was able to play after the files updated and I've had no trouble since.

wonder why I haven't read about that walk around when I was searching...sure seams easier than the other options.

I'm not sure. I spent hours searching online before. We do have a thread that discusses PB issues.
