Hi guys. Haven't been on to play in awhile because I've switched to a Mac at home for ET now, and I seem to be having a problem with BBA servers. When trying to join, during map downloads, map prep, etc, ET suddenly dies and I get a Kernel Protection Failure. I don't have this problem with any other server or clan. I've tried several things... tweaking video settings among them... and every time, a few seconds into downloading a pk3 file from a BBA box, boom, ET blows up and closes, leaving me with the error msg.
I'm running the latest Snow Leopard on a Core Duo machine, with 2 gigs of ram, so it isn't a resource problem that I can see. If it's a driver problem, then i wonder why no other servers seem to cause the same thing. Any ideas?

Whick version of ET are you using? I had a problem similar to this when trying to connect to bba2. Try the info in this forum and see if it helps:

Other servers run later versions of Jaymod, as far as I know, which may be related to the reply from Rukus.DesScorp wrote:If it's a driver problem, then i wonder why no other servers seem to cause the same thing. Any ideas?
