I noticed there were some people looking to get back into the game which is a testament how good the games was in the day!

I tried accessing ETQW last night via the authentication server and it still looks like it is down. :roll: I’m wondering at this point if it is down for good and that the game is no longer supported. Shame really since although the graphics is not at the caliber of modern games, the game play is sti...

Is it just me but the performance of game play, although not all the prior enhancements are active, seems to be better since we are not going through Splash Damage's authentication server? Curious if other are experiencing the same performance increases (i.e., game play being more responsive)? :huh:...

Gave it a try and was able to get on the BBA server without issue!

Was fun playing on the TAW server this evening! Good to see the usual crew except Sissy was missing. Anyway... was fun as always but wish the BBA server was accessible. Kid mentioned he would look at getting binaries from TAW ion they are willing to share.

TEMPORARY SOLUTION TO AVOID ETQW WITHDRAWAL It looks like the main verification server is down. I don't know if it's permanent or not. Here's how I connected to the TAW server. start ETQW Instead of trying to connect, open the command console by hitting CTRL,ALT,~ (Tilde) type in connect 178.162.13...

I just checked the splash damage form page and looks like we are still down. Don't they know they are cutting into my Friday night fun?!

I'm on vacation though the holidays and was checking out the BBA forum this morning. Thought I'd give a little feedback about the new server location in Chicago and playing ET these past few nights. From my perspective here in NC, it is a lot more responsive than the California server location; howe...

Is there a new limitation with the auto arm of the mines? I thought someone mentioned that you needed to get a certain level of experience points before this feature is enabled.

Often when i get pucked by a proxy is because I might be in pursuit of a enemy who is only trying to preserve a build/hack.
